My Approach
My roots are in storytelling photojournalism. Once a client is booked, I gather as much information about the individuals including family, friends, and learn your personal love story. The marriage is the most important part of the wedding day and the memories of the celebration reinforce your love story and bond. I am excited to learn about your journey and tell your love story! I’ve spent my entire professional adult life as a photojournalist. As you are lucky to have found love, I am lucky to have found the love of my life. I believe everyone deserves to find lasting love. In terms of photography, I found my passion early and am appreciative of all the teachers and mentors I’ve had. I developed my first roll of film in the 5th grade, earned a BSJ in photojournalism, and worked as a full-time staff photographer with amazing colleagues from 1996-2008. As an editorial photographer, I’ve been published in many national magazines and newspapers. Now, as a studio owner and private event documentary photographer, I get to explore making artwork for my clients.
